| Stage of The Arts will occupy the room that was once Kingston’s own vaudeville theater. Later, it became one of the first movie houses in the Hudson Valley. We plan to bring back some of the uniqueness of this special setting, but a major renovation will transform the room into a multi-media, multi purpose, state-of-the art performance venue, with configurations capable of hosting between one hundred and three thousand people.
. While construction is ongoing, a mini-theater has been constructed within the first third of the space. Here we offer a high-quality sonic environment for a range of entertainment and performances. The room is available for rent as well. It is large enough for seminars, trade shows, school events, large parties and live entertainment. Next Stage Academy’s recording suite, located in the theater space, may be contracted to provide digital audio and video recording of events and performances. Designed for acoustic perfection, Stage of The Arts is destined to delight the audience and performers alike.
