Our core group is an astounding array of performing and industry professionals with a strong desire to “give back” by sharing their expertise with the youth of our communities. Students are exposed to all areas of putting up a production - Acting, Music, Dance, Technical Aspects (lighting, sound, stage management, set design, set construction, costuming, make-up), and can even be part of the Band that accompanies the show. Within this program, students who don’t necessarily want to be on stage, but do want to be involved in live performances can have the opportunity to do so. All programs culminate with a full-scale production, and are attended by the public.

Our vision includes the addition of a straight show and original work running simultaneously with a musical in the immediate future. Right now the thrust is on attracting a multi-cultural, diverse group of youth from the entire Mid-Hudson Valley that may not have had the opportunity to participate in a program such as this one. We already have students from Rhinebeck, Red Hood, New Paltz, Woodstock, Kingston, Catskill…. it’s an easy ride - all major roads lead right here.
